Servicing the entire Chicagoland, we are a neighborhood non-profit based in Chicago's West Side working to build safer streets, stronger families, and clearer pathways — from the classroom to the workforce, from reentry to renewal.

Our Mission

Our mission is to facilitate healing, opportunity, and dignity amongst residents of Chicagoland. We utilize holistic, multi-generational, and trauma-informed approaches to empower youth, elders, families, and justice-impacted adults through education, violence prevention, and workforce development programming. By reminding residents who they are and whose they are, we support self-determination and community wellness.

Job Readiness

At ANBSN, we believe that job readiness is foundational for individual self-determination. We provide community members with vocational resources and referrals to training opportunities to prepare them for success in the next role of their career.

Youth Development

By providing youth with access to quality role models, mentorship, anti-bullying programming, and STEM education activities, we redirect and cultivate youth talents and attention toward more positive and impactful outlets.​

Violence Prevention

Through street outreach, mediation, and referrals to wrap-around services, we directly support residents and enhance community wellness by interrupting cycles of harm before they spread.​
